What is Red Grape Skin, Piceid Resveratrol?
Mega-Resveratrol® Piceid Resveratrol is made from the skin of red grapes. Unlike Japanese Knotweed, grape resveratrol contains 25% Polyphenols, 1.5% Piceid (both are known for their health benefits). Each capsule contains 500 mg of grape resveratrol. Grape Resveratrol is water-soluble and therefore absorbed in the body at a much higher rate (compared to Japanese Knotweed).
Should I take both products?
The short answer is yes. Considering the health benefits of Polyphenols and Piceid (and the relatively low price of our grape resveratrol), individuals on a daily regimen of 500 mg-1500 mg Mega Resveratrol should consider adding 1-2 capsules of grape resveratrol to their daily regimen.
For individuals who prefer a lower dose of trans resveratrol (100 mg-200 mg daily), grape resveratrol would be the better choice. (2-4 capsules provide 100 mg-200 mg trans resveratrol). Unlike low-purity Japanese knotweed resveratrol, grape resveratrol contains no Emodin (a natural part of the Japanese Knotweed plants associated with laxative effects), and therefore taking multiple amounts of grape resveratrol capsules causes no side effects.
